Assorted cargoes

Shipment of assorted cargoes presupposes transportation of small lots of freight owned by different consignors/consignees, in one container or truck. This mode of shipment guarantees savings by means of optimal vehicle load, and helps shorten the time of cargo receipt due to shorter times of a full truckload loading with maximum capacity taken by one consignor.

The process of cargo transportation within an assorted cargo:

  • Collection of the cargo from the consignor’s warehouse by means of a small load vehicle.
  • Delivery of goods to a consolidation warehouse.
  • Optimal consolidation and distribution of cargoes with other lots.
  • Export formalities (EX-1)
  • Transportation from the consolidation warehouse to the Moscow terminal.
  • Assistance in customs clearance and delivery to the warehouse of destination in Moscow.
  • Assistance in delivery of goods with small load vehicles to the end user.

Non-standard cargoes shipment:

Non-standard and heavy cargo shipment is a highly complicated kind of work and requires high coordination of activities of all the participants of the process.

Shipment of outsized cargoes, or cargoes with non-standard weights, requires appropriate transportation means, the choice of optimal route, the escorting of cargoes by guards of the Road Patrol Service or utility sector services, liability for the safety of non-standard cargoes from the time of loading completion till the consignee’s receipt of the cargo.

Delivery of outsized cargoes from faraway places requires optimal use of transportation means and their combinations in order to simplify and cheapen transportation.

Organization of non-standard cargoes shipment:

  • Development of preliminary transportation schemes according to the drawings, description and photos of the cargo.
  • If necessary, a visit by specialists of the storage site to inspect the cargo and evaluate the possibility of dismantling in order to reduce the non-standard nature of the cargo.
  • Agreeing of the route, used transportation means and any need for escort services on the route (RPS and city utility services).
  • Organization of loading, fixation, placement, loading optimization (possibility to transport with non-deforming parts overhanging)
  • Tracking of shipments throughout the transportation route.
  • Possibility to arrange for unloading at the destination point.
